Session and Pricing Guide 2014

When should I hire my newborn photographer?

The earlier the better 🙂  I recommend during your second trimester.  Why? I only schedule a few newborns per month, so spaces tend to fill pretty quickly.

When does your newborn session take place?

Newborn sessions are done up to 14 days old (I find that session within 5-10 days old work best).  During this time, babies are sleepier and still like to curl up in squishy little balls.  A majority of the newborn photos on my site are done before the baby has turned 14 days old.   But don’t worry, if your baby is older than 14 days old, we can still get beautiful photos.  We just may not be able to get some of the same poses that you see.

What does your session fee include?

Each session is custom to you.   All sessions include the session fee and 50+ hi-resolution files in an online gallery for instant download and sharin.  During an in studio session, you will have full access to our wide variety of props and accessories.  We also offer various collections of beautiful, heirloom quality prints and products that you are welcome to purchase as well.

Why me?

I absolutely love what I do and I care deeply about everyone of my clients.  I want them to have beautiful photos and memories for them to treasure for years to come. I am patient.  Which is very important when dealing with kids and babies.  I am also a very big advocate for newborn safety.  I have gone through a lot of training and practice, learning the proper and safe ways to create the beautiful photos that you see on my page.

What if I don’t know exactly when my baby will be here?

Once your session is booked, I will add your due date to my calendar.  I only schedule a certain number of sessions per month to ensure that whether your little one decides to arrive early or late, there are never any worries with scheduling your session.  Once your baby is born, just send me an email, message, or call within the first few days and we will schedule an exact date and time.

  • Emily Kenney - Hello,
I’m interested in getting more info on how you work your newborn sessions (length of time you give, props, things like that) and also price ranges.
My husband is a Marine and I would like a picture with him and our baby in uniform, but wasn’t sure if thats extra adding family into the pictures.
