Courtney Borgan Photography » Newborn, child, and family photographer servicing Beaufort, South Carolina and surrounding areas

While I have a very large variety of props and accessories for my clients to use, I always love it when they bring in something that adds a little personal touch.  A lot of times it is a piece of a uniform or something that represents a favorite hobby.  But every once in a while, I am brought a piece of the family’s history.  I have had a mother bring in a dress that was hers when she was a little girl, a family quilt passed down from 3 generations, and in Lawson’s session, a doll cradle that was made by his grandfather.  It was beautifully made and well crafted that hopefully will be passed down another generation.

That is right…a sale and a giveaway!  I have been proudly selling the Organic Bloom frames now for 3 years.  They are well made and beautiful.  You can easily find less expensive, similar styles at your arts and crafts store, but they do not hold a candle to the quality difference.

Once a year, I am able to have a great sale on these frames…25% off!  So if there is something that you have been eyeing, this is the time to do it.

If you need any kind of help deciding what frame style, size, or color you would like, please contact me. I would be happy to help you. I have quite a few samples in my studio, in my kids’ rooms, and even as props.  I also have samples of all of the colors, if you would like to see what they look like in person.

To go along with the annual sale, I would also like to giveaway an 8×10 “Jesse” frame in grey as a big THANK YOU to my amazing family, friends, and supporters.

To enter, follow the directions on the rafflecopter entry (visit and like the Courtney Borgan Photography FB page).

After that you have 2 more opportunities to add an entry…write a comment on this blog post and tag a friend on the FB “sale and giveaway” post pinned to the top of the page.

Woohoo!!  This is the second week in a row that I am actually getting a blog post up.  As sad as that is, it is a record for me.

Back to the GIVEAWAY!!  In January, I try to host some kind of giveaway to the amazing friends, family, and clients who have been supporting me on this endeavor.  Unfortunately, I about 9 months behind schedule.  🙁  Sorry!

In January, I asked a very good friend of mine, Melinda from Mocc Life (it has been way too long since I have seen her last) if she would like to participate in my giveaway.  She said YES!  And she said YES again when I asked her if she was still ok with it in August 😉

Melinda and I have known each other since we were in 8th grade…I am not even going to bother counting how many years that has been.  And now she has an amazing business creating and designing the cutest moccasins, clothing, and accessories for kids and babies.  This would be absolutely wonderful for your own children or as a gift for someone you love.

To Enter- Scroll down to the bottom of this post and follow the directions to enter up to 3 times to win a $30 store credit to Mocc Life (you can also find her Facebook Page right here…Mocc Life Facebook Page!  Good Luck to everybody and thank you for all of your continued support!

I cannot believe that it has taken me over a year to write my first blog post! I have so many great sessions to share but never sit down to write about them and post them.
Layla’s 1 year birthday session is a great one to start with. First off, I was so happy to do this session. When you get to watch these little ones grow through their sessions, it is an amazing feeling.
As you can see, it was a circus theme! So much FUN! I found vintage posters for the background to help add to the scene, but it was definitely the outfit that Layla’s mom brought that put everything over the top.

Don’t worry, you are not going crazy.  I have changed my website AGAIN!  Hopefully this time it will help to fix some of the kinks that I was having.

I was lucky enough to have some awesome help setting up a…let’s call it a starter website… from Devon at Doebele Media.

I am hoping that I will stick to my goal and get a post a week (maybe every couple of weeks) in.  Fingers crossed!
